Gutted about that result. Our team are looking better every week and for about 80 minutes of this game we were the better team around the pitch, just didn't take our chances when we should have and as usual, basic defensive errors! In hindsight, should have been 2-1 as word has it, the final goal against us went out of play by a clean mile before the lad knocked it in the back of the net.
Either way, it was a good match, one bad tackle by our striker who is sorry for that btw, but overall, was competitive and looking forward to the league games, though hopefully next time we host a game both teams can go back to the pub and enjoy the food - tis a real shame when teams don't do that I think, tis part and parcel of Sunday League and helps out the local pubs that do so much for there teams, I understand the Lions were busy and had to get back, but in general speaking, tis disappointing when teams don't entertain a pint afterwards.

what game were you watchin? cant believe you think you had the better game, you had a couple of shots but possesion was all ours. dont agree with your comments on the 3rd goal either but fair enough. see ya in the league |

Why didnt one of ur lads do it with u being the home team?
What we've done in the past is have 45 minutes each, different ref. Keeps it fair.
