I just realised i missed the deadline for calling the press officer today, i was convinced I had done it but it just dawned on me I hadn't. Had alot going on at home (not good stuff im afraid) and completely lost track of things, is there anything i can do now to stop our team from being fined?

^^^ Tried phoning him but he's at work.
A fine is the last thing i need, being evicted from my home and only just got back into full time work (which is a good thing but means my schedules have all changed), plus only just made up with my mrs who walked out with my son last week, so had alot going on and the call completely slipped my mind... Bugger, guess i got no choice but to pay a fine for it now, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! _________________

A piece of advice for you Nick (and anyone else)
1. If this is your first offence, there's no harm in e-mailing Iain Stanbridge (Reports Seccy) or Tony Pietrzyk (General Seccy) and pleading for leniency, because it won't happen again, right?
2. I think (though Iain can confirm) that the standard fine for this is £7 - as a club, even if you are extra careful, you are bound to incur a couple of these a season. You should make sure you budget for these when you plan your finances for the season. We (Loughborough Celtic) operate a really tight budget and a contingency of only about £40, which isn't much, but could swallow a couple of administrative errors like this. _________________ http://www.charnwoodsundayleague.co.uk

Sage advice there my fellow Buoy. Worth a sticky perhaps? _________________ BIRSTALL STAMFORD FC
