|
|
I am pleased to state that LARSOAR (which stands for Leicestershire And Rutland Society Of Associated Referees) have put details down on our very own website! At this moment in time, it is the Coalville and Loughborough branches that have participated for this season and we may have more branches join in the coming seasons!
LARSOAR is a very important non-profit organisation which helps all referees on local and national updates... If you are not a member of LARSOAR yet, why not For less than a match fee, you can register with them and receive insurance from them (included in their membership price).
Post any questions here if you are unsure of anything or whether you should register or not. I will be more than happy to get you the answers!
Personally (as a referee), I think it's a brilliant organisation and one that we as referees desparately require to help us in all aspects of the game! - Trust me... you will learn a lot from registering and attending their meetings.
There are more branches than just the Coalville and Loughborough, and if you want to know which branch would be closest to you, post your area here and I will let you know which branch would be most suitable and their contact details.

|
|
The next meeting to be held by the Loughborough branch will be on Monday 17th September 2007 at Loughborough Dynamo FC Clubhouse (Nanpantan Sports Ground, off Nanpantan Road) -- Start time is 7:30pm prompt!
Mr Sean Hewitt (recently appointed by County FA as the Referees' Development Officer or "RDO") will be attending the meeting to explain his role with the County FA and to listen to any ideas that you may have to air.
If you are already registered, you are requested to attend the meeting. If you are not yet registered, then you can always turn up at the meeting itself and join on the night! Remember... it's all for your benefit as a referee, to keep you up-to-date on all local and national issues and to help you with any concerns you may have.
For further information, you can always check out the LARSOAR area on our website, or post a reply here _________________ No longer the General Secretary -- Any queries/questions should be directed to either Brian Bunn (Chairman) or Tony Pietrzyk (Vice Chairman).

I thought that was included in your membership fee?
Anyway, it's more to do with keeping up to date on the important issues wouldn't you agree Andy?
It's unfortunately not getting a great turnout (anywhere in the County) and the referees need to soon realise that it not only helps them, it can also be a decent social night out... _________________ No longer the General Secretary -- Any queries/questions should be directed to either Brian Bunn (Chairman) or Tony Pietrzyk (Vice Chairman).

You pick up on things too well And NO... that isn't what I meant.. I have a social life... oh wait.... work doesn't count, right?
What can I say... I need my weekly fix of coca-cola (it's the caffeine really, but I can't stand coffee so have to make do with pop... as Andy Parker so clearly pointed out ) _________________ No longer the General Secretary -- Any queries/questions should be directed to either Brian Bunn (Chairman) or Tony Pietrzyk (Vice Chairman).
