Humberstone Rangers 0 - 4 Ashby Railway
Great result, very well deserved. Things turned sour second half as their strikers started to get fustrated, they picked up 2 yellow cards along with an off the ball incident which if seen would have been a red. |

Birstall Trees P - AFC Countryman P - been kicked out of the county cup (don't know if I had mentioned this before!!!)
United Aces 2 - Birstall Trees Reserves 17 (no first teamers honest)
Funny incident this morning, Ref turned up, and as The Aces could not get their changing rooms opened, he refused to do the game, but still wanted his match fee, we were happy to play the game and had all got changed in our cars. Ref wouldnt budge until he was paid, which he duly was then left. I ended up reffing the game, which looking at the above scoreline was not the hardest one I have ever done, but I don't think the ref did himself any favours with his attitude this morning. _________________ Birstall Trees F C |

Donisthorpe 2 - 6 Agar Nook
What a bunch of ****, seriously we were awful. Had 6 first teamers out and the others who normally start didn't really turn up for the game today, think they left there football ability back in bed. Agar Nook deserved to win, prob not by so many, but deserved the victory - shocking by us and convinced now we are probably getting relegated unless we can turn things around soon. _________________

weather didn't suit our style of play and helped them a lot with there aggressive game! Very good attacking side though and if the ref had of not let so much go and stamped he mark on the game early doors then 3/4 pitch brawls could have been avoided.
Haha glad we play in the charny league, forgot how rough Sunday footy can be? _________________ Honours:

An eventful day to say the least!! First off, absolutely no excuses for todays performance, the |Riverside lads were well worth their three points today, we were very very well beaten. However, mitigating circumstances include, losing our captain and inspiration before we even left the pub, losing our centre-forward in the warm-up, losing our goalkeeper and right-back during the game, our left-back leaving his head in the Emporium and our centre-midfielder enjoying his 18th birthday the night before!!! But, as i stated, these are NOT excuses, and we deserved nothing from the game.I honestly dont know what to do with myself as i have not lost a league game in 15 months as manager before today!!!
Looking forward to next weeks rematch at our place which is our FIRST home game of the season. and, if i know my lads, the result will be a lot different next week.
Also the ref was a c*ck for both sides yet again, and it was also nice to have to get changed in the car park in the pouring rain, thanks to Charnwood Forresters deciding to keep the keys to themselves. Thanks for that. _________________ CUPIDO AC FIDES |
