Ashby Rovers 0 Birstall Stamford A 2
12 players unavailable today....yes,12!!!!! But every single one of the lads involved stepped up to the plate today, had an average age of about 19! Bit of a scrappy game to start with, felt a bit sorry for Ashby turning up with 11 and then one man getting injured, although he did soldier bravely on, and im sure that they will be a match for most sides in the division.
However, 3 games played, all away, 3 wins, top of the league and with 12 players to come back....exciting times ahead.
And todays ref was absoluteley brilliant!!!

It was nice to have two teams who just wanted to play football, it was a good game to be part of. Your number 2 only looks about 12

Who daryl? hahaha, he is 18 but he does look young, did well today though.Bit of an easy game for you to ref i think, bet you wish it was like that every week??? Easy money!

Twelve 4 - 1 Donisthorpe Engines.
Sadly, we didn't deserve anythng from this, the result actually flatters us, it could have been double figures for Twelve, but there a great bunch of lads, just ashame we didn't turn up on the day like we can to give them a good game, so serious training this week for the boys, a real let down as far as I'm concerned.
