Even though we rested players after winning the league last week, i give credit to the gate lads for giving us a right tough game, indeed we went a goal down (again!!) and if it wasnt for our keeper pulling off at least 4 top drawer saves, we could have been beaten.Once again, the character we showed proves that we are where we deserve to be.

Too many injured players, finished last game with 9 fit players!! Plus we were supposed to be playing Markfield not Whitwick for the third out of the 4 weeks.

Wednesday nights then pal????
We are ready as we can be for next week, it will be good being able to go into the game with very little pressure on us.Im really looking forward to it,would be a brilliant achievement to reach the final, ive been lucky enough to win the William Davis as a player, its a good final on a wednesday night, it usually rains too!! Im sure Burton wont be making it easy for us though!

If we could have put the ball in the back of the net instead of fluffing all our chances it might would have been a different outcome. Whitwick kept the ball well but didnt do a great deal with it (apart form score twice and hit the bar a couple of times) but we did ok considering our midfield went awol the night before.
