Bank AccountI have currently just taken over a small sunday league football club, I want to open a new account bank account where I cn keep the clubs money and also pay bills. On a weekly basis I will be collecting players money and depositing into the account and at the same time will be paying for the pitch we hire via cheque. Bearing in mind that the amounts are small and not large amounts of money. However I wish to keep this account seperate. I don't know if to open just a normal high street account although my credit rating is pretty poor, any ideas etc much appreciated.

Mine isn''t that good either. I believe you can open a bog standard bank account that lets you do the basics ie: DD's, Cheque book etc. If you go to the banks with i think 2 forms of ID, one with address you can open an account fairly straightforwardly. As it's on behalf of the club you should take proof of your connection with the club. If I'm wrong I'll make sure I don't ref you this season!

Just go into any high-street bank and ask if they do a bank acocunt for clubs/societies.
I had one through TSB ages ago for my old football team and our current one is through HSBC.
Natwest have one too:
