charmwood 0-5 swanningtonnot the best display from swannington however it was another clean sheet, couldnt fault the commitment from charmwood, they never gave up.
although swannington good at the back again only conceding 1 goal in 3 games i feel we need to be more clinical up front.
we have riverside in the cup next week which could be a wake up call for us.

Agree with you Craig. they never gave up and had a couple of chances our keeper had to be alert for.
Hopefully charnwood will stick at it. Its not nice having a losing run as we well know after our first season

2nd game conceded 10
3rd game conceded 5
4th game conceded...........can you conceded 2.5?
Our reserves are getting better halving their conceded goals each game. A win/draw is not far away! Touch wood!!!!!!!!.

Ill tell you what mate, if ur reserves would have played the keeper thats played in the second half in the first it would have been a different game.

Not sure who played in goal last week as they have tried 4 different outfield players in goal. If he's any good though we'll get him in the 1st team as neither team has a goalie at the minute!

Haha, well belieive it or not he has changed alot this season. Very rarly swears or argues in games (Very strange i know).
Nah Smiggys in Germany with the army atm i dont think hes even playing this seaon or if hes signed on or not.

Yes Matt its at the same ground as last week. I did one useful thing whilst being on the bench and asked the riverside lino if that was where we'll play em next week

Yea but the top pitch has a big fence to catch the ball. I hate running to fetch it after way ward shots haha

6 teams at Lodge farm this week. Only 4 changing rooms, COSY. Even better for the 3 refs trying to change in cupboard!

charnwoodGreat six teams there gonna be very cosy, as for reducing the score charnwood if we (Walsh play like we did last week awful then you may even score double figures)
I am sure though the lads will get a good kick up the ass and there will be changes with guys coming back from injury including myself so it will be a fair game.
The key thing is to keep the lads going and not get disappointed at losing sileby last year were a very good side and we only took four points off them because they lacked inexperiance and let us get to them, but looking at there scores they gonna walk the league this year and will be between rovers swannington and peacock for 2nd.

Yep, with 4 teams down there Saturday afternoon and 4 teams down there sunday mornings now plus the kids sunday afternoon, I think the pitches will be knackered by by November! We are currently looking at moving though as the condition of the pitches is getting worse every year, but the prices are rising. makes no sense really.

thats lucky that we will have played played charmwood and sileby away before the bad weather comes in. less chance of games being called off. we only have 3 teams play o our pitch over a weekend and we had loads of games cancelled last season so i dont fancy your chances
