Markfield 5-A-Side Tournament, This Sunday

Anybody going to the Markfield 5-A-Side Tournament, This Sunday at Alta Stones Markfield??

Not going to the markfield 5-a-side tournament, but this topic reminded me that there was talk of a CSFL tournament during the summer. Does anyone have any info on this?

If not, is anyone interested in helping me organise a tournament for CSFL teams ( end of June start of July time??? )?

There are certainly plenty of people who go on this website who are very pro-CSFL & football in general. I am sure we can get something sorted?!?!?! I am prepared to get involved with a few others to help sort this out. Unfortunately, the only thing I don't have is access to 5-a-side goals and suitable grounds so that could be a strater. Any takers???????

Cant believe the Markfield tourno is this sunday...... we have got a game,like many other teams who have still not played all of thiers..... surely they should have delayed it to at least the end of May......... Crying or Very sad

I can certainly help organise a 5 a side tournament if others are willing to help too...

I can get 4 or 5 if not more teams together....

Also I can help sort get a suitable 5 a side playing area....either in or outdoor...the location would be Loughborough though.....

We have 3 helpers/organisers now. Probably could do with 1 or 2 more.

However, we seem to have a runner so  I will start putting some stuff together and then put an invitation on the website subject to Webbo confirming pitch/goal details.

Helping'd be an issue to be honest but I'm sure BSFC'd get a side or two minimum there no worries dependent on dates

We'd have 2 or 3 teams init definately. We put a team in the anstey town tournament sunday just gone and flew the flag well!
Hammered last years winners includin quorn saturdays 1st teamers and ex city player john stevenson, then beat stanny all stars inc kris nurse,ronny white, the dodds, elliot the keeper etc
then beat stannys other team. Only concedin 1 goal in until thd final when we got beat by a load of old ieads 3-1.... Sods law!

How much did they charge per team to enter out of interest? i am currently looking at costings. Thanks

Put me down to help out if required

I know I could get at least 2/3 teams

We always play in the Barrow 5 A Side tournament, and it costs us £20 per team, if you want an example of costs.

Anstey tournie was 20 quid 2 enter ian!
Err it was anstey town old boys with clinton gunn up front.

The Anstey Town Tournoi is a good day.

Best Side I ever lost in there was 4 of the Team Bath side that got to the FA Cup 1st round. Cheers then

I would like to ref that too, i hope the bloke who reffused to even book the defender at the back for stanny "A" when he brought down 1 of our lads who was clean through is playing...

Any tackling on him will be ignoured, even high 1s..
