Organised outfit but our defending was shocking. Never mind, good luck to Burton though I think if they stick at it they'll do well.

Tight first half, where we should have scored a few, but paid the price after the break, and in fairness, Stanny should have scored more.
Could blame players not being bothered to turn up, and a pitch like a jungle, but that would not be fair, as we were well beaten by a youthfull Stanny side,
Good luck to all the Birstall sides this year, but looks like might be a hard one for us

PS, have just had to eat about 5 chip butties, as the landlord thought half of Birstall was coming down, didn't realise all your team was only about 16

Thats a pretty fair write up ian, thanks to you and your lads for the game. I told the lads to bring their fake id as well but obviously they didnt listen!!!
Its always tough getting a side midweek mate so i do sympathise.It was good to see the game played in good spirits too.
Good luck for the season mate, hopefully we can offer you a return fixture next year.
Well done to my lads too, the future is bright at the stanny!!

Wilko me ode, you've got a good young side there, we were shocking in the 2nd half, and we did have some players out but fair play to your lot for coming back from 4-1 down, you even managed to keep our front 2 under control for most of the game,You should be up there come the end of the season mate

A very good game all round, aces were unlucky to lose with a deflection with the last kick of the game sealed the victory for heather. Finally glad my lads were all able to turn up for a change and we had a run out as a full team and see what we have for this season.. full credit to heather as they never gave up and i could blame the ref for playing 50 min 2nd half cos it was still light, but im still happy with my lads performance again a strong div 1 side
