I would love to agree mate...but they defended awesome...5 mins left and I had to change it as I needed the win to keep our title hopes alive....we were attacking a set piece....gave the ball away and Gaunt counter attacked....2 on 2....1-0.....shame coz we had the believe for the league....

Lough royal oak 3-6 riverside (possibly 3-5) i cant actually remember
unfortunatly for oak they had a very soft and very harsh red card against them!! could have gone either way really, very scrappy game, we just managed to put away our chances!

Yes wes, they put a lot of men behind the ball and it frustrated us a bit.Too be fair, the kept going an didnt crumble like a lot of sides have done against us.However, we were far from at our best, but we were due an off day.

Birstall Stamford 1st team thought they could come to the Compass, and get the cigars out. I don't think so..matched them to the point where we played them off the park, sat behind the ball 11 players bollocks. We were a far better team, they didn't even come into the clubhouse for a drink... bad losers!! For the record we had 6 players out!..........EASY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was there tho after a bit of research on Quorn, and the better team won on the day. Both teams had players out but you'd see from our cup games so far that the 1sts had a couple of my lads in as well as couple of 17 year olds. A far cry from what the 1st team normally put out but that's Sundays for you. You took your chance and fair play to you all the best in the next round.
Best off leaving Baldy on the line drinking Strongbow every Sunday I reckon

Ace my san always fancy are chances with the players we've got its just getting the clowns out of bed. it helps playing at home best ground in the charnwood league i think. shelly lions good team should be a good match but got to take care of loughborough academicals first! then bring on the young lions!! GAME ON !!!

Quorn royals 3 Bagworth 1
Not the best of performances from us to be fair.... We had a few players missing a couple carry knocks. But we managed to get the job done and i dont think the result looked in doubt at any point. Say that i was surprised by bagworth.. There a steady organised side. They had two sent off and we had one after 2 of the lads started throwin punches... Fair play to the ref he got it all under control quite quickly .

Watched the 1st 30's left just after the penalty miss. Quite clear that you lot were only in 2nd gear so wasn't going to get much from the game really I thought Bagworth were a game side but no match for Quorn.
League games left - Royals twice and Compass twice. Yeah thanks a lot then.
And as for Foxy all be it the man gets right up my nose on the pitch he'd be a quality aquisition for any side you can see the difference quite easily different gravy on his day

I didnt know if they'd make it cup? Its my 21st bday wkend this wkend and bein club captain their cuda b some rite states sunday mornin!

I wouldn;t worry about it being your birthday. It's not unusual for me to have picked players up from outside Havana's or Bambuu bar at 8:30 and I can't see the fact that it's squeaky bum time being any different. That's no disrespect to you it's more that the lure of repetative beats and controlled substances is too much for some on a Saturday night. Ahhhhhhhh those were the days
