The problem is, that's the job of your coach really, plus I'm on holiday so i don't really have time to do it realistically, I have other obligations like going to the zoo and sunbathing (the weather here is scorching, 30 degrees in April!)
Briefly though, our performance went half way to whooping you as comprehensively as we should have done after you talked of how you'd beat us bla bla bla! Still, it was a great match which everyone enjoyed, apart from your goalkeeper, who by the way seems like a real sound dude! He is a good keeper too, he stopped a lot of shots and crosses, he's massive!
Apparently the leagues secretary was surprised when we won 3-0 and Tom Marriott's name wasnt on the scoresheet. I guess that does suggest that he is a great player and has done well this year as some people on here have suggested, but it also shows that we arent a one man team and still created and scored plenty of chances without him up top, which is a positive for us.
Sunday gave some of our defenders the chance to get up and attack, it was really enjoyable for everyone, the fans too. Hats off to Swannington as it was a pretty clean game, and nobody gave the referee any problems. On that note, the ref had an excellent game, didn't draw any attention to herself and encouraged an attractive flowing match, 10/10 for her.
I guess I just said I wouldnt write a match report and then I kinda did... hmm, silly of me.
Well I hope you enjoyed the read anyway! It would be nice if the bickering between our two sides could stop now, i think two 3-0 wins should bury that hatchett eh?
