Having played both teams, and no disrespect to Brittania, I could not see a single one of their players getting in to the Three Nuns side,
Maybe a Three Nuns reserve side?

As I said before, with the current Landlord in place I give the pub about a month before the shutters go up.
Would be interesting though if the Stamford had a B & C side, one for every division, wonder what the league would think of that?
Hopefully im wrong, as I have spent the last five years getting this team(s) up and running, so it would be a shame if it all went pear shaped, but being a bank manager (boo hiss) I do know what state everyone of my pubs that I look after are in, so it would be no suprise

Brittania innlandlord does not want to renew sponsorship with the team for next season.The option the team has got is to merge with the Three nuns for next season.

just do what we did and pay for it your selves....our sponser let us down one week before the season started he kept saying yes ,yes ,yes he will do it and then left us in the poo. so one week before the season no kit ,no nets,no sponser(no goal posts as rawlins double booked us hence no changing rooms where we play as it was the only pitch we could get before the season started)...me and my bro chipped in all the money to get the lads to play football.as long as everyone pays you should be able to cover your costs.

As long as the lads pay subs, a small signing on fee, any fines up front and with a tiny bit of fund raising you'll keep afloat. BSFC's been running like that for years and has always done ok

If your part of the Brit and from Shep have a word with the Crown in Shepshed...he will sponsor ya! Also there are alot of good players from Shepshed without a Sunday team as Shepshed Town folded....get mreging with some of the lads???
