They all seemed upbeat when they got down the pub (only drinking coke if you are looking officer) but it was still a good game for them, and your right when they get a bit older they will be ok.

Any victory against the Stamford is something to be pleased about, as you know all three teams will be there or there about at the end of the season

Even Though we lost 6-3 against a good Birstall Tress side 3 div above us, I thought we gave them a good game in the end... still plenty of work to do for us though.... and still have 3 players to come back...
good luck for the new season !

good luck for the new season ! | When we went 5 - 0 up I knew what was going to happen, they all start thinking they should be playing for Real Madrid, so in a way Im glad you put some past us, as it might start to make them realise they are not as good as what they think, and have to use thier brains (difficult for my lads) to see games out.
Thanks again for the game

Just found out my top goal scorer from last year broke his leg in todays game against Twelve, in what was a nothing challenge.
Better take my non sympathy back as I thought he was just being a big girls blouse hopping round the pub afterwards
Now thinking its going to be a long season again!!!

was more like a cuptie today hey wes?? Enjoyed the game alot, we matched dynamo for a lot of the game but their undoubted quality showed through in the end....division one will be a very tightly contested affair i reckon. We had 6 players under 18 today, including a 15 year old keeper and they all did very very well. The stanny conveyor belt just keeps on churning them out.
Good luck for nex season wes, and well done for keeping things going this year, a lot of teams fold after one season, so, fair play to you pal.

Ian - sorry to hear about your top goalscoarer and yes it was a nothing challenge but them sort of challenges seem to be the worst...

Surprised nobody put our last result up on here
Peacock 5 - 3 CSKA Carnabys (Alliance League, Division Five, I think)
Decent game, lots of stuff for us to take away and work on though. Should have been 5-2 though as the keeper had a bit of a 'mare and got beat in a Nayim/Seaman sort of style. D'oh!

that happened to us vs Mountsorrel last season, although our keeper was 58 years old at the time??
