SWANNINGTON FC TO GET 3RD!!

here we come boys, on a winning streak of 3games in a row in the league! Dropped silly points away to Birstall, and Walsh, and shouldve beat the 3nuns at the start of the season! My own goal meant we drew 2-2!
Riverside FC

I'm afraid, for you Swannington boys, I think the 1-2-3 finish is already sorted.

Breedon are too far ahead of you now I reckon - you can only reduce the gap to 4 points, IF you win your games in hand.

The thing with Breedon is that I would back them to win any remaining home fixtures, which will stand them in good stead to hold on to 3rd place.

As for the Three Nuns, theyre competing for 1st place, but should end up staying in second by the looks of things. Their hopes might be boosted if they have to replay the match against Riverside, but as far as I'm aware, the 3 red cards they got against us kick in after next weekend and will mean 3 of their players will be suspended for the rest of the season. I guess it means they may even drop to third, depending on Breedon's results.

Since Nuns beat Sileby, and due to your inconsistency over the season Swannington, it looks like you and Sileby, two decent sides, will be battling for mid-table respectability this season.

Good luck in the run-in though. I might be wrong about Breedon, they have a tough few matches coming up which will make or break not nly their season, but their opponents too, as they come up against the Nuns and Sileby pretty soon. As i said, i think their home form will stand them in good stead to take the bronze though.

Breedon werent up to much last season and this season we beat them at home easily. theyve got their act together since xmas tho
yeomansram

breedon got a handful of new players in since last season, after a poor season last year, but its holding on to them thats the problem!! not bad season this year only lost once at home in the league, last few games will be make or break for 2nd.  Just hope riverside do us a favour and beat three nuns!!!

(Not like there in any mood to do us any favours!!!) ha ha.

Weve got the tougher end to the season tho still got to play sielby twice, Three nuns too so its gonna be an interesting few weeks.

didn't know you signed more players. defo made the difference to your lot anyway. Good game in the cup wasn't it? Bloody hot though!
yeomansram

ha ha! yeah it was a very good match.  your lot deserve to be higher in the league than you are.

We've only had two new players this season - apart from that it's the same old faces!

Just dodgy results really. beat u at home in the league, lost away. shouldve beat birstall trees at home but drew 3-3. Shouldve beat 3 nuns early in the season but my own goal made it 2-2, and drew 4-4 away at walsh! do think well beat riverside though with a full team. and from what ive been told on here sileby arent that good, but i consider any team that scores 7 past us to be pretty good!

Yes, but one of them was at Burton Albion last season and the other is in Invanhoe's first team!

Really? Who was at Burton?
Manuel Pablo

Mitch Jordan, wasn't playing first team obviously. He's at Heather St Johns now I believe.

should've had a bet with you   Crying or Very sad
wilko

You've got to beat us first?
LCFCStu

i am worried about your game! only hope that some your lads cant make a 615pm kick off! Most of us on the dole so were ok!!  Very Happy
LCFCStu

besides, we only need a draw and a win thanks to ashby!
aciesielski

If we beat you does that complicate things?
LCFCStu

if you beat us, the best we can do is fourth!

we need 4 points minimum from the ast 2 games
LCFCStu

maybe....just maybe!

not the arrogant type and im always winding people up on here, but should we get a point next game I'm afraid i will be bringing out the quotes sayin 'i think 123 is already sttled for this year'
wilko

Tbh mate, I don't think anyone on this forum gives a --expletive used-- not allowed! - This is a warning!. 1st is winning the league and the rest is nothing.
LCFCStu

your right, but apparently theres a small chance of 3rd going up this season
Riverside FC

LCFC STU, if you get 3rd then congratulations, and i look forward to seeing you 'bring out the 1-2-3 quotes'.

However, if you lads are anywhere near as poor as you were against us, then Sileby will walk all over you like they did last time!

I guess it depends somewhat on how much SIleby want it now they know they can't go up. Still, we beat you comfortably when we had nothing to play for, so I reckon Sileby will do the same.

Good luck to both teams!
LCFCStu

we shall see Smile
Riverside FC

uh oh!
LCFCStu

thrashed last night!  Laughing

they are a very good team in fairness
Krashslaughta75

Hahahahahahahah oh dear me after all the hopes and dreams...............
