Due to retimements, injuries and a general lack of interest from the youth element of our team we are looking to see if there are any other sides out there who are also struggling this season, perhaps considering dispanding at the end of the season etc, but who have players and officials who are still interested to push on into next season. Charnwood Foresters ( well some of us ) are desperate not to fold, but currently have an average turn out of 7 with the remainder of the places being bolstered by 30-40 year old men + who are ex-players or officials playing to avoid League fines and try and get us through to the end of the season.

We have 20 years experience in the CSFL with good ground facilities in Loughborough. We have 4 or 5 very good players who have acquitted themselves more than adequately to the premier league this season, but have been let down on numerous occasions by there so called team mates.

We are looking to amalgamate with any other side in a similar position, subject to league consent, but would be really interested to hear from anybody with any ideas or proposals ASAP in order to comply with the registration deadlines for next season.

Strangely enough, we are finding the more we lose, the more players we get turn up!!, had 19 reserves to choose from on Sunday

We are trying our best to get 11 out for Sunday to face your 1sts. Our secretary only found out last night we had a game this week. So far I have 4 definites and 2 maybes depending on whether they get injured playing saturday!!, pretty cr*p return for 24 texts to players. We'll keep you updated.

I got a message at 10.30 last night. We have played gaunt x2 already so we knew the fixture list was wrong. I know its predominantly our fault for not getting a side together but when you get two days notice to do it people have already made plans. i had 2 there last sunday who would have played had we known we would have a fixture this week but now they are away for the weekend. Very frustrating. in view of your lads situation i could ask the league to cancel and we could re-arrange for a wednesday? With the clocks going forward we would be ok now. that might save us a fine!!

A 9.30 am kick off ( clocks ) is never the best one after a night on the tiles. We will contact the league and see if i can arrange a wednesday. We are nearly finished anyway so it should be ok.

If they didnt tell you before Tues night 12.00, they cant make you play it. Tues is the cut off for fixtures to be announced.
