Your top 3 best CSL grounds.

1. Enderby St Johns
2. Swannington/Ashby Railway
3. Groby Dynamo (last seasons though played at new and its decent aswell)
wilko

Not forgetting Burton either!!
tjriverside

I personally thought riversides pitch last year was head and shoulders above the rest, excellent changing facillities lol
woody1984

Personally I thought Holmes Park was pretty decent!

Worst ones we have come across are definately Breedon, Greenhill and Id have to agree with Riverside (no changing rooms and frozen pitch when we went in the cup).
dazman1982

we were lucky enough to play quorn royals on quorn fcs' pitch last year. great pitch, great facilities.

(then again, if you can call being hammered 9-1 lucky)
steansy

haha yeaa we were quite lucky to be allowed 2 play on quorns ground last year against u dazman! our pitch had been doubled booked down rawlins so our chairman pulled in a favour! apparently he may be owed one or two for the season coming Very Happy

Haha its relatively flat, its actually full size (despite the fact the goals arnt), ive never had a game called off there because of a water logged pitch. Bout it really. I have but tbh some of the pitchs i play on are terrible. United aces for one.

To be fair our pitches are great. They're a good size and they're flat (which is more than can be said for even the mighty (?) Long Whatton pitch).

If only Burleigh mowed the grass more than twice a year and got someone sober with two eyes to do the line marking...  Wink
Adamlill

Heather - cracking ground with its own little tunnel!
Compass - even though its Bardons place
Burton - say no more.
Matt B

1.) Long Whatton - it's got a bar in the clubhouse & its cheap
2.) Heather St John - it's got a bar in the clubhouse
3.) Shepshed Dynamo ( cup finals etc ) it's got a bar in the clubhouse, but not so cheap

The only reason they are great is cos they are small.  Less running!!!

Based on my time with the CSFL and BSFC........

1) Holmes Park
2) Loughborough Dynamo
3) Barrow Town

No-one in the league set up can really lay cliam to having a combined good pitch and facilities as they is always at least something not up to standard whether it be a slope on a pitch of the size of the changing rooms.
And yes I am back and no I am no going to be as regular as last year so see you all in 4 months.

Waterlogged for the most, frozen for 1. Gets churned up good and proper on a Saturday that can render it unplayable if it rains overnight.
