I was not pointing the finger at you wes, me old mucker. But, if you took 5 or 6 players out of any side then they would struggle.Have to admire joeys persistance with the reserves as, not only do they have to provide the first team with fresh meat when they are struggling, but, they also take young up and coming players from our team every other week, so, consistency is pretty hard to come by.

looks like a fight to the finish in Div 1.

Tough game against the village wes??

To the players that did a no show I thank you very much!
And the ones that I managed to scrape together were beyond awful in a nutshell.
An absolute joke and emabressment.

I don't often jump in on people's ships but that fella is bang out of order on your lads. We would have beat 90% of teams in the whole of the Leicestershire Sunday Premier Leagues by a big score playing like we did today and to be fair to your boys, they never gave up despite the fact that there were some walking wounded on there and not just in spirit. I thought they were a credit and conducted themselves well. Most teams would have given up and totally caved in but the 15 goals we scored were all created and finished professionally and to the standard that I expect and what we can perform to.

I asked for a reply from last weeks shambles and by god did we deliver. Thanks to all the lads it's not often I'm happy enough on a Sunday night not to bother about work on Monday

Indeed mate but to be fair, if we want to win the league then next week at Shepshed is the big one for me. Take every game as a cup final.

Good result for you though today

Oh and by the way, the Stanny first team were f*cking brilliant today. We had heard a lot of stuff about brittannia being paid a lot of money to play and that they were beating everyone in their path.Well, thanks for coming lads but get on the coach and f*ck off with your tails  between your legs.

The dodds brothers ran the show again.Might sound arrogant, but when you beat a team that are supposed to be that good, then the plaudits are well deserved.

Echo that the 1st team were bang on form today. Jammy n A.J for me were class but the first half they couldn't live with us. 100 mile journey to get panned n another long hundred miles back with Dawn's prison food for supper.

Thanks for coming lads

Not really nick if I'm honest, we did go 2-1 down but both were errors and then we got back in front before half time and then we just went into cruise control. Yet again we took 2 big injuries to rob and kew who were gonna start plus no chris, Pud, milo, Scott or jermaine but we powered through and prob should of hit 10. I missed 2 easy chances, think the swine flu is still in me?

Well from what I've seen so far, it should be us, you and Whitwick for the league with you and Whitwick to go up.

William Davies Cup same three with Stanny A side in there as well.

P.S Nothing to do with the CSFL but great to see Advance do Scrappy Garage 5 - 2 after being 2 - 0 down.

i like the idea of united aces and peacock not playing because they couldnt agree on a ref, fair play because after our joke of a game out at sporting wigston when they reffed the game, i dont think we will ever play a game without a proper ref again.

ref swannington sileby, well played sileby, top team who will win the league at a canter, good bunch of lads and the game was well reffed.

I can't see us finish lower than 2nd in this league if I'm honest. Need to invest in a few more players though if we Wang to challenge like we have done in both dubs so far?

From what I've saw so far this season I agree with that. I need to do some shopping myself and hopefully the two lads from Thurmaston Town liked what they saw today. Don't ask me who the hell they are tho.
