Have any other level 7 Refs had the dates through for the CFA promotion night. If so I would like to be nosy and ask which night they are attending. I am going on the 28th.

I know I had to postpone going for promotion from 6 to 5, but that's due to both the time-factor now I'm more involved in the League and because of 1 or 2 personal reasons.
Good luck though to all those that are going for promotion (just a reminder that you can ALWAYS ask for a League Representative to come and watch you sometime to give their opinion -- and YES... that person will be a qualified and active referee registered with CFA!)... and that doesn't apply to you Mr Parker.... you can sod off you cheeky sod!  See you at the Shepshed Dynamo game Andy.. pint on me after the match if you're still around

I have decided not to re-register as a referee for the 2008-2009 season, mainly because I am unsure whether I will still be in Leicestershire! I will register again at a later season and eventually go for my promotion to 5 (which I am very confident on getting seeing as I am much fitter now -- even though my appearance would suggest otherwise )
Congratulations to ALL Charnwood Sunday Football League referees who achieved their promotion. Well done Pete and Mark... hope you go for promotion again next season for Level 5?
I hope I didn;t miss anyone on the list above (I'm not the Ref Sec, so I apologise if I did, but the names highlighted are the ones I immediately recognised).
Congratulations in particular to Kevin French getting the old "double-jump" from 7 to 5. Very well done sir.
