What a cracking result! Anyone else go there today? Attendance just over 24,000... great support shown to the Blue Army today.
Collins John with his first (of hopefully many!) for Leicester, and of course good ol' Kisnorbo with the other abour 7 or 8 minutes after the first went in! And they could really have had another 1 or 2 as well.
Barnsley barely even had a sniff today, great work rate by all the lads out there! The only unfortunate thing is that Sheffield Wednesday won today as well, so not as big a result as it possibly could have been.

Am I right in saying I think Leicester have one of the best defences in the country at the minute??? _________________ Shelthorpe Lions FC

I agree too... I posted that before the game. To be honest I gave our lads a bit of an injustice, but after seeng the Chelsea Man City game and the fact that we we're going managerless to the bridge just made me brace for the worse.
Now on the other hand I am gutted that we let the chance to beat Chelsea slip away. I think all of the Leicester lads should be applauded for their performance.
It would be nice if we could score 3 goals in a league game tho...
I apologise to all my Leicester brethren and the Gods of football for losing my faith for a fleeting moment! _________________ http://www.loughboroughceltic.co.uk |

To score 3 goals at Chelsea and not come away with anything must be hard to accept! Fair play to Leicester for the fight they gave. _________________ Shelthorpe Lions FC

Just had a text from my mate, who is working down in London, but could not get a ticket for love nor money, Not to be put off he and three others went down to west london to take in some of the atmosphere, whilst he was in a pub, he bumped in to Serge from Kasabian, and got chatting about the match. After telling Serge he could not get a ticket, Serge then told my mate he was going in a private box, and did they want to come!!! stupid question!!!
I have since received at least 10 picture texts, from my mate and his new best mate Serge
jammy --expletive used-- not allowed! - This is a warning!, I wouldn't mind but this was the first match he has been to in about 5 years _________________ Double Winners!!! |

Reminds me of someone I know!
Going back many many years... a long-time mate of mine had never played Rugby before, never went to watch a professional Rugby game until I offered him a spare ticket I had. In the end, he got talking to someone at half-time... just happened to be somebody in a "respectful position" in the RFC! Little swine ditched me and stayed with them whilst ensuring he got numerous autographs and a few photos.... mind you, I think in all honesty I would've done the same thing? Anyway, I wasn't pleased for quite some time.
Jealousy... an ugly thing really I wish I could say I was pleased for him, but really, I just wanted to beat the cr*p out of him! _________________ No longer the General Secretary -- Any queries/questions should be directed to either Brian Bunn (Chairman) or Tony Pietrzyk (Vice Chairman).

No need to be nasty I love watching and refereeing football but not keen on playing anymore (not that I could now anyway!), but I love playing Rugby... the best way to let the tension and aggression/anger go in a constructed way.... it's the best way to let steam off! Nothing better than being in the Front Row (and I don't mean in the stands either! )... What a way to let go. _________________ No longer the General Secretary -- Any queries/questions should be directed to either Brian Bunn (Chairman) or Tony Pietrzyk (Vice Chairman).
