Ian, do you have your own goal posts or are they used by all the clubs at your pitches, it may be the individual goalposts that are too small. I was quite happy with them, and to be perfectly honest I don't know many refs who go around with a tape measure measuring the goals!
Hi Iain,

The posts are jointly owned by The RBL, Stamford, & ourselves, and are the only ones used on that pitch, and have been since we bought them 4 years ago, to my knowledge the post sockets have never changed (as confirmed by the parish council) and as you said no other ref has ever had a problem with them, however, after being reported, the legion had a league official come down to the pitch on their next game to measure them and again confirmed they were short.

As the A team are playing on the pitch this Sunday, I feel its over to Nick to get his tape measure out!!!

I can PM you the ref involved if you are interested?

Cheers iain, ill take a couple of brick ends from work today to pack the bottom up!!!! I cant believe a ref would go to these lengths (excuse the pun), by bring ing a tape measure??

Can you make sure the ladies dont open the Cafe up untill after the game, dont forget i have Tippo and Tom Burton in my squad, both big fans of a pork product!!
Your joking aren't you,

As our game was cancelled last week, we only made £10 profit from the cafe, and I had worked it in to my cash flow forcast that as you were finally at home this week (the long awaited arrival of Tippo) this was the week to open early and cash in.

Seriously, if you speak to Anita before the game she will arrange to get the ref a drink for half time/full time etc..

Next to the changing rooms, you can't miss it, as the smell of bacon draws you to it.

We (BSFC Res) are at home as well so I can sfely advice that there will be a few down on the park from our supporters who will alternate between the 2.

I'll put in now for 1 Coffee. Decaff if poss. I've hyper enough on the line on match days

Best worse gag ever Celtic Steve

No he didn't play, I know who u mean though. They have 5 very quick attacking players, 2 lads up top sean and micheal, with some African u21 players sitting behind them. Then two good wingers all fast as f???. Mid 2 are just scrappers but did the job and defence centre massive, I was small next too them but u know me I went in twice as hard as them! Both fullbacks were quick and good on the ball. Gk aka trig is weak but due to the wind we couldn't get the ball out second half. Doesn't help that there players get £10 a win plus £10 a goal? All apart from Jamo in the mid were very good on the ball and they had 19 players?

If I were you lot I would put in a complaint  Wink I am pretty sure that one of the guys that scored against you is not signed on with the right name..... On the LSL site they have a player down as scored by someone from there own team called Michael Line I think, yet on the score sheet they have sent in the scorer is Michael Leadworth or something like that ?????

Why has this player got 2 names ???? seems a bit dodge to me  Wink

WORTH A LOOK. Smile

this is all over face book now haha, cheating bees!
